台灣毛蕨是金星蕨科的蕨類植物，分布於低海拔山區，潮濕溪岸的濃密森林裡。一回羽狀複葉，具有小毛蕨脈形，透光看來，別有一種繁複而細緻的美感。 Rhizomes stout, ascending. Fronds tufted; laminae broadly lanceolate, 35-100 cm long. Sori round, median on the lateral veins. Distributed in S. China, Thailand, the Ryukyus and Taiwan. Growing in dense forests along the moist stream banks of low mountains.
