感性描述: 

綬草是蘭科的地生植物，又稱「清明草」，指其在清明節前後開花；此外，因其螺旋狀排列的花序，有如廟前石柱上盤旋而升的祥龍，又名「盤龍參」。綬草分布於全島低海拔之潮濕草地，可以說是台灣平地最常見的蘭花，在各地之公園、校園草坪上都有機會看到。由於其植株嬌小，您可得蹲下身子，才能欣賞它優美的線條。 Terrestrial herbs. Plants 30-40 cm tall. Leaves linear-oblong, 5-15 cm long, becoming much longer in tall grass clumps. Rachis 5-15 cm long, with few to many spirally arranged flowers. Flowers white or pink; lip separated from column base, oblong when expanded, concave or rounded at apex. Distributed in Siberia, China, Japan, Indochina, India, Malay Peninsula and the Philippines southward to New Zealand and Tasmania. Taiwan, common in moist grasslands below 1,000 m, throughout.
